Trip of the Month Contest Rules PRIZES ARE NOT TRANSERABLE 1. Tickets are payable in full - $120.00. Cash or Cheque are acceptable forms of payment and made out to Indus Ringette Association. All cheques must be received and the last day for ticket sales is Tuesday Nov 17, 2020 and clear by Nov 24, 2020 in order to be eligible for the draw. 2. Trips, including Travel Voucher on Sept 2020, must be booked through Christina Bethlehem at Kaleidoscope Travel & Cruise - located in Carseland, AB within 90 days of the draw date. After the 90 day period, if the trip is not booked $875 cash will be awarded to the winner. All travel, including the travel booked with the voucher, must be used within one year of the draw date. All prizes are guaranteed for one year from the draw date. If a trip is not booked within 90 days of the draw date or cash is not claimed withing the 12 months of the draw date, the prize amount will be donated to the IRA to be spent on the group's currently approved use of proceeds, upon AGLC approval. For packages including gift cards, the gift cards will be provided after trip booking is confirmed. Gift cards are non-refundable and non-replaceable if lost or stolen. Visa gift card terms and conditions will apply. 3. BLACKOUT DATES APPLY - Christmas / New Years/ Easter / Holiday periods such as Catholic and Public School spring break week, February break, ALL Canadian and US Long Weekends are excluded. All airfare is from Calgary, with the exception of Banff and Kimberley, which is a self drive. Winners are responsible for all travel costs to Calgary Airport and self drives. Parking, overnight airport stays and fuel charges are not included. Flexibility is required as hotels may have conventions and other black out dates outside of holiday periods. 4. If you do not want to take the trip or use the travel voucher, you will be awarded $875.00 cash. 5. No insurances or surcharges are included and are at the winner's expense. Travel insurance is highly recommended, however value of the trip is not covered. Insurance for car rentals is the winner responsibility. Winner's are required to sign waivers related to COVID-19/ travel advisories, declined insurance and any other applicable agency waivers at time of booking. Proof of valid out-of-country medical insurance to be provided if travelling out of country. Baggage, trip interruptions and any upgrades can be insured. 6. Upgrades may be added to any trip at the winner's expense. All travel arrangements are to be made by Christina Bethlehem at Kaleidoscope Travel & Cruise and the prize winner. 7. All travel is non-transferable, the trip cannot be resold. Should there be a destination previously quoted not offered or has been cancelled at the time of claiming your prize an alternative will be suggested. Alternatively, the winner can choose the $875 cash option. 8. Raffle Tickets shall not be sold to a person under the age of 18. Seller’s must advise adult ticket buyers not to write the name of a person under the 18 years of age on the ticket. 9. NO restrictions on the licensed charity’s members, or their families buying tickets. 10. 440 Tickets will be sold. 11. No refunds on purchased Tickets. 12. In the event a winning tickets stub has more than one name on it, the Indus Ringette Association shall award the prize to only one individuals identified on the ticket. The Indus Ringette Association and the AGLC are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket stub. 13. Two Tickets will be drawn on the last Friday of every month starting November 2020 and the final draw October 2021. The first name drawn will be for the predetermined trip and then that winning ticket will be put back into the draw barrel for the second draw which will be for $120.00 cash and then that ticket will be put back into the barrel for next month’s draw. The Draws will be made at Mountain View Credit Union, 259 Center Street, Langdon, AB T0J 1X0 and witnessed by a member of IRA Executive and at least one other member of the public. The person making the draw cannot have personal interest in the draw. Draws will be made from a clear plastic draw box. The winner will be contacted and given their options. The winner (s) names will appear on the Indus Ringette Website.
