Resources For Team Managers
| A Team Manager has a significant impact on the success of the teams' season. While the Head Coach takes responsibility for everything that happens on the ice, the Manager typically takes responsibility for everything off the ice.
Often it is assumed the Manager is only a team administrator. However, the best managers provide leadership to the team and manage the people involved.
The Team Manager and the Head Coach must work together to establish the culture of the team, and establish a structure for the team.

All Indus teams must open Team bank accounts (it is not acceptable to run team funds through personal bank accounts).
MANDATORY TEAM BANK ACCOUNTS
IRA will prepare a letter to give your team permission to open a team bank account. We appreciate your patience - it may take a few days for us to get the letter back to you if one is not given at the Coaches & Manager Meeting.
Please send an email with the following information to request your letter:
- Age division and team name (your team name CANNOT have IRA or any of the same words included)
- Full names of 2 volunteers on your team that will have signing authority (Typically Manager & Head Coach)
- Please submit letter to RBC branch in Chestermere.
- The account opened will be Community and Not for Profit Business Account:
